This role requires a strong connection with both the local residents and the student population, along with the ability to unlock the pub’s untapped growth potential. With a focus on enhancing wet sales and developing an exciting new menu, the right candidate will also capitalise on the secluded, well-maintained beer garden to drive food and drink sales.

The Drummond Arms is a large, welcoming community pub located prominently at the corner of Welbeck Avenue and Somerset Road in Portswood, Southampton. Nestled in a densely populated area close to Southampton University and Southampton Common, the pub serves a mix of private residents and students. The pub features charming architectural details, including oval arches and matching window lattices.

Pub Layout

The spacious main trade area is dominated by a central bar servery, visible from the front entrance.
